2015 Boy's High School Brahma Showcase

Pierce College High School Showcase 2015

Pierce College Men’s Volleyball Team hosted it second annual Boy’s High School Showcase. 14 Teams ranging form Venice to Antelope Valley and Thousand Oaks to Cresenta Valley showed up to enjoy in the friendly tournament.

Every team at the showcase was able to play one set to 25 against each team that entered. 13 sets of competitive volleyball allowed the coaches to run multiple line ups and get all their players tons of reps.

Lance Walker, Pierce head coach and Alumni (2000) said, “The tournament went well today and everything went according to plan. We didn’t have any injuries and kids were having a great time representing their high schools while playing against some of their club teammates. Parents were really happy they didn’t have to drive to Anaheim for a long day of volleyball, and super excited that their kids were asleep before they left the parking lot after the tournament.”

The Pierce players worked the tournament reffing the matches and did an amazing job. Bronson Olivera, Pierce Men’s assistant coach was seen running back and forth between gyms making sure that no team was sitting for more than 15 minutes between matches.

Pierce used this tournament to help fund their 2015 season. All of the proceeds go back into the program to help pay for equipment, uniforms and meal money for road games.
